Blessings MOPS! Ah, yes, our MOPS year is in its end and with so many heartfelt goodbye’s and tears in my eyes, we must say goodbye for now. As for me it is a goodbye, for you see, I will not be returning next year. I am officially a MOPS graduate. My baby has turned 5 and will be in Kinder in August, therefore that disqualifies me as a MOPS, but I will surely be praying for each of you as you continue through this phase of your life. MOPS has been such a blessing for me, I cannot begin to tell you. I have met such wonderful, loving, amazing, and awesome friends; each one leaving an imprint in my heart. I’ve also received such great tips, instruction and good advice on becoming a better mother. But, one thing for sure, it has allowed me to grow and mature even more in the things of God. I’ve learned many new lessons within this year; especially on friendship, communication and godly unconditional loving. I do feel I have graduated in these areas, I’ve been taken to a different level that I know will help me in whatever the Lord has in store for me. I pray that you too have been taken to another level in your walk with God, in friendship and in unconditional loving. All which belong in God’s plan. I know God desires for His women to be in harmony and in love, edifying, encouraging and teaching one another. My vision this year for MOPS was: “To share the love of Christ with women and to disciple, equip, and encourage them to become godly individuals, wives, mothers and leaders.” And, I do feel we have accomplished this vision. Our theme this year was: “A New Creation”, based on II Corinthians 5:17, which reads “Therefore if any [wo]man be in Christ, [s]he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” And, with all the new things this year, we have all graduated to a “New Creation”. My desire for MOPS, is that it continues to grow and impact the lives of women. That mothers are transformed to “New Creations” in Christ Jesus and are leaders within their homes making an eternal difference. I pray that you too, have birthed this feeling in you so that MOPS can be a legacy starter in the lives of many. May the Lord be with you, and yours, and continue to guide you in this phase of your life because… “Mothering does matter.” Many Blessings,

MOPS exists to meet the needs of moms of all ages or backgrounds.
